Hello Robot

It's no secret that I have been dabbling with Android recently.

My first real time with Android was when I picked up a Samsung Captivate in December of last year. That was a very unfortunate first impression of Android because Samsung may make some awesome hardware, but they suck at software (details).

My second Android device was an el cheapo Android tablet, which was promptly returned for a Samsung Galaxy Tab Wifi. I decided to give Samsung a second run, this time as a non-critical device (a tablet with glitches is a lot less grating than a phone with glitches). The Galaxy Tab Wifi has turned out to be an OK device, though not completely rock solid.

Last week, my Blackberry Torch broke (my fault), so I decided to replace it with an Android device. I picked up a Motorola Atrix 4G and have been using it for a week now.

Overall, I am really happy with my two Android devices -- most especially the Atrix 4G. Android runs great and is really flexible. There are still stuff I miss from the Blackberry platform:What mobile platform are you on if you're using a smartphone?
