UltraEdit for UltraMookie

june 26, 2003

I used this editor for a while at work a few years back, but never really checked it out again. But 10.00 of UltraEdit is a pretty damn good editor. I've been using gVim for Windows for the last few months and although it's pretty cool, I wanted to try a better editor that is suited for the GUI of Windows. UltraEdit was the top of my list along with TextPad. But since I was more familiar with UltraEdit, I got that instead. Try out the 45-day trial of UltraEdit at their website if you're a programmer or just want a good replacement for Microsoft's Notepad.
